Meet Kevin, a dedicated and highly skilled professional mediator and Board Member, known for his extensive experience in facilitating the resolution of various workplace and commercial disputes, over two decades. Working with diverse groups such as public authorities, universities, schools, local businesses, suppliers, clients, international NGO’s and individuals in the community, Kevin's expertise extends beyond geographical boundaries, covering major spaces in Oxford, London, the Thames Valley, and Kenya and South Africa.
Recognised by both the CEDR and CMC, Kevin has over fifty successful mediations and conflict coaching cases under his belt. An MBA holder from the acclaimed Imperial College, and an MSc graduate from the London School of Economics, Kevin fuses his strategic business acumen with a robust academic grounding, offering a unique blend of insight, understanding, and resolution to every situation, disagreement or dispute he mediates.
In his voluntary roles, Kevin serves on the Board of Trustees of ‘Mediation Buckinghamshire’ and 'Alternatives to Violence Project - Britain' (AVP), using his expertise to mediate community disputes and with AVP, to deliver impactful workshops for individuals connected with the UK criminal and civil justice system.
With a career that began in the financial services sector and spanned over two decades across sectors such as local authorities in London and Oxford, international consultancy, and international development, Kevin has been a leader of organisations and teams across the UK, Europe, and East Africa.
As a mediator, Kevin mediates a wide range of workplace and commercial disputes. He accepts requests to mediate from local authorities, universities, local businesses, schools, international NGO’s, charities and private individuals, helping them navigate their disagreements and disputes and refocus on their core objectives. His unique approach draws from his wealth of experience and clear understanding of the complexities of cross-cultural dynamics.
Kevin says that being a mediator is a passion and a privilege. Each day he gets to work with people to help them better manage and resolve disagreements and disputes so they can get back to focusing on what’s important to them, whether that be their colleagues, team, their businesses, community or neighbourhood.
Kevin describes his mediation style as thoughtful, respectful, and undertaken with care. He adopts a calm conversational approach, providing parties with the time and space to speak, listen, think and reflect upon what is being said.
